We are delighted to be hosting Leica for a Take Over Event at our Dursley store. The day will involve demonstrations and expert advice on an extensive range of the iconic M system and outstanding SL range. You will also have access to the TL II APS-C mirrorless range and the popular full-frame Q compact camera. All of this will be available all day and Leica representatives will be on hand to provide the demonstrations and answer your questions.
Also available will be two 'Studio Photography with Leica' workshops hosted by Leica's Akademie Trainer Robin Sinha. Robin will show you the best ways to use a range of Leica cameras in a studio environment using different lighting setups. A model will be provided along with a wide range of cameras to use.
When are the Leica Akademie workshops?
The workshops will last approx. 2.5hrs. The first starts at 10am through to 12.30pm and second will start at 1.30pm through to 4pm. The workshops cost £50 and have a maximum capacity of 8 so spaces are limited.

How much are the Leica Akademie workshops?
The workshops are just £50 and spaces are limited to just 8. Included in this will be a free SD card to capture your images plus we will be providing access to Leica equipment and a model.
Can I bring my own camera?
Yes, if you have your own Leica camera and want to try out a range of lenses or learn more about it then please bring this along.
What time does the Leica Take Over Day start?
Leica representatives will be available in-store from 9.30am right through to 5pm. You can come in at anytime for a demonstration of M, SL, TL II etc.
Who is Robin Sinha?
Growing up in Newcastle, Robin Sinha moved to London in 2003. After completing a BA in Photography at LCC, Robin assisted various photographers before beginning his own professional practice. In 2009, Robin joined Leica UK in Mayfair where he currently works as an Akademie Ambassador and photography workshop tutor. Robin was recently shortlisted for the Portrait of Britain and Taylor Wessing Portrait prize.
