Nano Crystal coat reduces ghosting and flare.
ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and Aspherical lens elements ensure high resolution and contrast while minimizing spherical aberration, astigmatism and other forms of distortion.
The lens is beautifully built, gives excellent ,contrasty and sharp images and if you want a shift/tilt lens and have a Nikon camera, then it is great.I am still getting used to it but am very pleased with it.
The only thing I really don't like and feel is a real design problem is the fact that you can't shift and tilt in a parallel direction which is a fairly vital thing to be able to do.You can have it modified by Nikon to do this ,but why not have it like that in the first place. Also, poor instructions on actually using the lens.
