Nikon 8x42 Prostaff 7s Binoculars

The new binocular PROSTAFF 7S 8x42 has been fully redesigned to enhance both style and functionality. Enjoy a completely new optical system. It was created exclusively for the PROSTAFF 7S series and succeeds in delivering sharp images of stunning quality. Waterproof and fog-free, it features an improved grip for a better handling in all kinds of weather. The PROSTAFF 7S is made for bird watching and wildlife observation. For that reason, viewing comfort was a key priority. A lot of attention went into details such as the knurling on the focusing ring, which makes adjusting the binocular easy and natural.

Key features

  • Multilayer coated lenses and prisms for superior images
  • Phase correction coated roof prisms for high resolution
  • High reflection mirror-coated prisms for enhanced brightness
  • Long eye relief design ensures a clear field of view, even for eyeglass wearers
  • Turn-and-slide rubber eyecups with a multi-click adjustment make it easy to correctly position the eye
  • Extremely lightweight
  • Waterproof (up to 1m/3.3 ft. for 10 minutes) and fog-free with nitrogen gas
  • Rubber armouring for shock resistance and a firm, comfortable grip
  • Eco-glass optics (free of lead and arsenic) used in all lenses and prisms

Solid build, bright and sharp image. Ideal for general use.
Individual lens caps could easily be lost as not attached to anything.

Glad I went for the 8x40 rather than 10x40
If you pay more you obviously will get better optics but these are very good
