So what are the D3500 main features?
The D3500 features the tried and tested large 24.2 MP DX-format sensor that is proven to capture richly detailed photos. This sensor is also able to capture Full HD movies at frame rates of up to 60p.
To make this a truly versatile camera, Nikon have given it a razor-sharp autofocus system, 5 frames per second and an ISO light-sensitivity range of 100–25600.
How is this different to the D3400?
The D3500 has the same internals as the D3400, a tried and tested entry-level DSLR, but one area the D3500 improves on externally. The handling has been improved, weighing just 365g and measuring in at 124×97×69.5 mm. The other noted area is the battery life. Using the viewfinder you can get up to 1550 shots per charge.
All of this points at the perfect camera for travelling students and new DLSR photographers.
