It works
Poor autofocus flexibility. Poor owner's manual. Apart from the increased ISO range compared with my old faithful D60 body I am disappointed in the D5300 as not user friendly for people who want more than point and shoot

The D 5300 is a great camera this is an upgrade for me having the D3100 for many years without any problems, I have had Nikon's for about 35 years on and off but always go back to them .
