Every time you want to use it you have to go into the camera settings and turn on the IR receiver. It only stays active for about 10 mins then switches itself off to save the battery. It's a real pain

After buying a Chinese knock off that only worked about one time in twenty ... this was an over priced ‘ real thing ‘ that works every time ! .....
Expensive ....

Simplicity itself - does what you'd expect - ultra simple. BUT - buy the genuine product from a recognised Nikon dealership! I bought from another source initially to try and save money. Beware of rubbish copies in the market.
It looked too much like the cheap copy I first bought...but this version worked first time!
