The E-M10 Mk III provides remarkable performance in a stylish body. With 121 AF points, 5-axis image stabilisation and up to 8.6fps sequential shooting the Mk III comes with top-class compensation performance. Anyone can capture pin-sharp photos with high image quality - even in shooting situations where camera shake can cause blur, such as night scenes, indoors or when using a telephoto lens.
Because the image stablisation (IS) is built into the body, the E-M10 Mark III delivers blur-free images with any lens*. It also provides powerful compensation for camera roll, which cannot be corrected with in-lens IS alone. The result is sharp images even in situations where other cameras struggle.
The camera also benefits from the Truepic VIII imaging processor, which is the same powerhgouse found in the acclaimed flagship OM-D model.
Operation and convenience are at your fingertips with the touch-sensitice LCD, providing easy access and complete control over the camera. The E-M10 Mk III is equipped with a tilting display for complete creative control, especially when the subject is not easy to reach.
The built-in, high-definition Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) displays the same image as the LCD. The field of view of the EVF is larger than comparable cameras of the same class at 100%. The EVF will also remain on at all times while video recording.
The new E-M10 Mark III offers different shooting modes to accompany users with different phootgraphy skills. From fully automatic to advanced photography and manual control.
With the new SCENE mode, optimal shooting settings are simply a matter of selecting the shooting scene from the touchsceen LCD. By choosing any one of the scenes (People, NIghtscapes, Motion, Scenery, Indoors or Close-ups), all settings will be automatically adapted to easily give you the shot you intend to get, in beautiful quality.
Advanced Photo (AP) mode makes a number of technically challenging photography techniques more accessible. Long exposure shots and focus stacking can be difficult effects to achieve but in AP mode the camera does the work for you and makes truly stunning photography just a few button presses away. AP mode also has a 'Silent' setting perfect for shooting weddings or in situations that demand quiet.
The camera has a total of 15 art filters that expand the possibilities of photographic expression including a brand new filter, Bleach Bypass. With Bleach Bypass photographers can add a touch of cinema quality to their shots. In filmmaking, the bleach bypass method gives street scenes atmosphere and metal testures a more impressive look.
The E-M10 Mk III features 121 AF points, face priority, eye detection, continuous AF and high-speed sequential shooting to make sure you never miss a shot. It also features Touch AF Shutter, using this capturing the perfect moment is as easy as choosing the area of focus on the touch screen and then tapping the LCD.
Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi photographers have a range of shooting and sharing options at their fingertips. Using the Olympus app (OI.SHare) photogrpahers can connect camera and smart phone to shoot remotely, import images, add GPS tags and edit photos.
A simple one-off scan of the QR code which appears on the camera's LCD is all it takes to connect the smartphone to the camera.
For even more creativity the smartphone can be used as a remote control - with complete control over shooting settings, art filters and more.
