Three Peaks Fundraiser

The Challenge Begins in..

Help us reach our goal, for Bristol Childrens Hospital!

  • This summer, Clifton Cameras will be braving  UK 3 Peaks Challenge, to help raise money for a charity close to our hearts..

The Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal

Established in 1995, Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal has raised £50 million to support sick children and their families in Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Bristol Children’s Hospital is one of the UK’s leading children’s hospitals treating over 100,000 patients every year with life-threatening illnesses from Bristol, the South West of England, South Wales and beyond, which serves as a dedicated Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Major Trauma Unit.

So please help us raise some funds, to really help this important cause.

Gromits are coming along with us!

We have a handy team of Gromit mascots that will be helping our trekking staff along the way. Carrying supplies, cooking and, most importantly, posing for those epic mountain background shots!

Lets meet them!

What is the UK 3 Peaks Challenge?

  • The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours. However, our team will be doing it over the course of 3 days, starting on June 22nd.

    The three mountains are:

    - Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
    - Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
    - Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft). The total driving distance is 462 miles.

A popular misconception is that the three mountains that form the challenge are the three tallest on the British mainland. Rather, they are the tallest mountains within each representative country: Scafell Pike is the tallest in England; Snowdon, the tallest in Wales and Ben Nevis the tallest in Scotland — over one hundred peaks in Scotland are higher than Scafell Pike, and 56 higher than Snowdon.

Meet the team!

  • Tackling the mountains requires fitness, stamina, willpower and dedication. Therefore, it may come as a surprise to know that we had no difficulty finding volunteers to join Gromit on his adventure!
