1/1.28inch CMOS Sensor
The Autel EVO Lite Drone comes equipped with a 1/1.28inch CMOS sensor that is capable of producing 50MP photos. Low-light images are made possible thanks to the large f/1.9 aperture and RYYB colour filter array design, which absorbs 40% more light than traditional RGGB arrays.
PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) + CDAF (Contrast Detection Autofocus) allows for incredible precision while tracking fast-moving subjects.
HDR mode takes several photos at different exposures that can be stitched together in post-production so that you will be able to capture all the rich detail from shadows and highlights no matter how extreme the lighting conditions.
40 minute flight time
You will have ample time to capture all the footage you need thanks to the drone’s impressive 40 minute flight time. The EVO Lite is the only drone of its size to offer this level of endurance and works out at roughly 30% more flight time than other drones in its class.
7.4 mile transmission range
The EVO Lite has a transmission range of 7.4 miles and is capable of 2.7K/30fps quality video. The remote controller also has a built-in microphone so that you can record ambient sounds on the ground so that you can utilize it in post later.
Easy footage transfer
Transferring your footage is easier than ever thanks to the Autel Sky app which allows the user to upload photos and video to your smartphone by simply placing it close to the drone at the speedy rate of 160Mbps.
Ultra-Wide-Angle Obstacle Avoidance
Another fantastic feature of the EVO Lite series is its ultra-wide-angle obstacle avoidance system. The drones sensors have a front field of view of 150 degrees that eliminate more blindspots than traditional systems thus allowing a reduced number of cameras.
Perfect for content creators
The EVO Lite has a number of shooting modes that are perfect for content creators and filmmakers. The Master Subject Tracking mode allows the drone to automatically follow any person, animal or vehicle. Other modes available are Flick, Rocket, Fade Away and Orbit.
Autel Sky app
You can also add a soundtrack and filters to your video via the Autel Sky app. You can apply templates for quick and easy movie-making so that you can edit footage ready to share even faster than ever.
3 Colours Available
The EVO Lite is available in 3 different colours. Arctic White, Deep Space Grey or Autel Orange.

Do I need to register my drone?
Yes. Any drone exceeding 250g will need to be registered. If you require more information for this then please visit the CAA’s DMARES website. If you have already registered and have an Operator ID, ensure this is attached to your drone.
Where can I fly in the UK?
If you have not taken a drone training course you will have to adhere to the rules of the Open Category’s A3 subcategory (fly far from people).
- No uninvolved people present within the area of flight;
- No flight within 150m horizontally of residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas.
If you would like more freedom with your flying it is best to take a drone training course.
- A2 CofC
- An A2 CofC allows operations in the A2 subcategory (fly near to people) of the Open Category. This permits flights up to 50m horizontally from uninvolved people. This is allowed during the Transitional Period, which runs in the UK until December 31, 2022.
- For operations which pose a greater risk than the Open Category or fall outside the Open Category perimetres, a GVC is required to apply for an Operational Authorisation to fly in the Specific Category.
Can I use this drone commerically?
Yes. Having an A2 CofC allows you to operate commercially. But the A2 CofC is not specifically a commercial permission; it is a competency which permits flights in the A2 subcategory, regardless of recreational or commercial flying.
You can fly commercially in the Open Category without an A2 CofC, but your operations will be restricted to the conditions of the A3 subcategory.
The GVC allows you to apply for an Operational Authorisation, which has replaced the Permission for Commercial Operation (PfCO), to fly in the Specific Category - geared towards enterprise drone pilots and for operations outside the remit of the Open Category.
