What is happening during the Canon Week event?

Danny has spent 10 years travelling to these remote forests in all seasons to capture these images". This talk is a showcase of some of his best images that he has managed to capture during that time.

Thursday 14th November:
Clive Booth is in to talk studio photography and give you a demo on his approach to portrait photography - Clive will give a short workshop explaining his approach to portrait photography and his love of three dimensional lighting. Inspired by the chiaroscuro technique made famous by Leonardo da Vinci, Carravaggio and Rembrandt. Clive clearly remembers first seeing this technique in the extraordinary paintings of eighteenth century local artist Joseph Wright at his local museum in Derby. The impact of Wrights incredibly atmospheric paintings of science and the birth of alchemy had and still have a huge impact upon me.
