Hasselblad 907X Anniversary Edition Kit
Beyond Classic. 80 Years of Camera Innovation
Celebrate 80 years of camera innovation with the Hasselblad 907X Anniversary Edition Kit. Since the release of its first camera, the HK-7 in 1941, Hasselblad have continued to reimagine camera technology and break photographic norms. Pioneering the very first medium format mirrorless digital camera, innovating modular camera designs and making waist-level shooting an icon of the times. Down to the finest detail, the Hasselblad 907X Anniversary Edition Kit serves as both a nostalgic nod and a tribute to the spirit of innovation.
The Hasselblad 907X Anniversary Edition Kit is part of a limited run of just 800 cameras worldwide.
When ingenuity meets artistry
Pushing concepts first developed in the 1950s for the SWC camera, the 907X is an interchangeable lens camera system that supports both live view and autofocus. Included in the Hasselblad 907X Anniversary Edition Kit is a CFV II 50C digital back, a 907X camera body, control grip, optical viewfinder and an XCD 3,5/30 lens. Every component of this special-edition kit is designed in ode to the journey of Hasselblad’s legacy.
The engraved 30mm wide-angle lens was thoughtfully selected to echo the Biogon 38mm lens used with the SWC. Unique to the Anniversary Edition, the lens features a motif of the Hasselblad ‘H’ etched around the focus ring.
The camera and grip are covered in a black grain leatherette skin and highlighted with anodised Lunar Grey trim. One side of the camera features a commemorative plate that reads ‘Since 1941,’ while ‘Hasselblad’ in handwritten lettering marks both the camera body and the optical viewfinder.
907X Camera Body
Hasselblad’s smallest body ever, the 907X Camera Body, turns into a small lightweight camera enabled by the CFV II 50C. It also means the user now gains access to use wide-angle lenses, not something available with the previous CVF models, like the XCD 21mm and 30mm. Combine this with an XH, XV or XPan lens adapter and your lens options open up even further.
Coupling the CFV II 50C with Hasselblad’s smallest medium format camera body ever, the 907X creates a highly compact package. This combination will offer a truly distinct photographic experience, including the classic waist-level shooting style of the V System enabled by the CFV II 50C’s tilt screen.
CFV II 50C Digital Back
The CFV II 50C digital back features a 50 megapixel CMOS sensor (43.8 × 32.9 mm in size), with each sensor individually calibrated for optimal performance. As with the other digital Hasselblad systems, the CVF II 50C renders outstanding colour depth with Hasselblad’s Natural Colour Solution technology to deliver superb, true-to-life tones.
This digital back will enable use with most V System cameras made from 1957 and onwards in addition to third party technical or view cameras. Improving upon the user experience of the previous generations, the CFV II 50C features a brilliant tilt screen with full touch support and Hasselblad’s renowned user interface for settings, image review, and menu navigation. The CFV II 50C also features a fully integrated battery slot, the same used on the X System, and dual SD card slots, reducing the overall size and offering the option to recharge in-camera via the USB-C port. Combining its iconic aesthetics with modern technology, the CFV II 50C gives a nod to Hasselblad’s history combined with the brand’s world-renowned image quality.
XCD 3,5/30 Lens
The XCD 30 AE is one of the widest angle lenses from Hasselblad. Its focal length provides a 24mm equivalent field of view, making it the perfect landscape, reportage and travel lens. Edge to edge sharpness will transcend images taken with this 30mm XCD lens far above other optics.
The lens boasts extremely high performance in a compact build, providing a 71º horizontal angle of view. A unique feature is that the lens will keep its amazing performance even when shooting at a close distance of just 40cm.
Anniversary Edition Kit Accessories
Included in the Anniversary Presentation Box are two additional accessories; the 907X Control Grip and Optical Viewfinder to complete this photographic set.
Hasselblad 907X Control Grip
Designed to beautifully complement the 907X, the Control Grip brings the most crucial functions right to the photographer’s fingertips. It enables quick adjustment of aperture, shutter speed, and fast AF point selection via the joystick control. Additional buttons give quick access to image browsing and menu options. All four buttons on the Control Grip are customisable with the option to choose between 30 different functions. The Control Grip gives an all-around balance to the combination regardless of whether shooting at eye level or waist level and in portrait or landscape orientation.
Hasselblad 907X Optical Viewfinder
Reminiscent of the Hasselblad SWC viewfinder, the optional 907X Optical Viewfinder (OVF) enables simple eye-level shooting. Used in combination with the 907X, it is easily mounted on the camera body via a cold shoe adapter. The OVF has a wide field of view and markings for the XCD 21, 30 and 45mm and a centre cross for an autofocus point.
