LEE Filters LEE100 Hood
The LEE100 Hood is a self-supporting lens hood enabling photographers and videographers to shade the lens from glare and direct or off-angle light.
Working intuitively with the LEE100 Holder, the LEE100 Hood is easy to fit, water-resistant and can be tilted to different angles and rotated independently from the filter holder.
The LEE100 Hood is ideal for:
- Studio photographers who need to shade the lens from glare and direct light when using a number of different lights/flash-heads in a studio setup.
- Videographers working outside or in harsh light who need to shade a lens from glare and direct light.
- Landscape photographers who need to shade the lens from glare or direct sunlight out on location
Tilts to different angles
The hood can be positioned very accurately to remove any side lighting or glare hitting the lens.
Self-supporting
No need for any guides or rails. Positioning the hood is very easy and intuitive - once in position, it will stay there.
Can be used with a Polariser
The LEE100 Polariser is still easy to use with the hood fitted.
Easy to extend and collapse
This makes it easy to store. It comes in a neat protective pouch.
Easy to adjust allowing it to be fitted to the LEE100 holder with either one slot, two slots or three-slot filter guide configuration

Helps protect both filters and the front of the lens from light rain and drizzle.

This is great for people who use the hood regularly as it allows the hood to be clipped on and off the holder quickly and easily.
Wide-angle of view
With the hood at full extension, it can be used at approx .28mm on a full=frame sensor without any cut-off (vignetting) with the holder configured for 2slots. At half extension, it can be used at approx. 20mm.
Can be rotated independently from the filter holder
This enables the user to angle a grad filter in the holder without impacting the angle and position of the hood.
Easy to fit to the LEE100 holder
No special tools required. This makes it quick and easy to use out in the field
