What lens diameter do I need?
The objective lens diameter determines how much light enters the optic, so can be crucial if using the scope in low light levels, such as twilight. The diameter (in mm) is shown as the second number on the scopes’ name.
What magnification should I get?
An optics’ magnification shows how much zoom the scope has. This is the number preceding the multiplication sign in the product description. When there are two numbers, this signifies a variable magnification range, making it possible to adjust flexibly to suit your needs. Though a higher magnification will also lower the scopes’ field of view.
