The ATOMOS Ninja V + is a compact professional-quality video monitor. The ability to capture RAW video up to 8Kp30 or 4Kp120 via HDMI lets you capture and edit cinema-grade footage at home.
No compromise to video quality
The Ninja V+ takes advantage of the new Atomos Silicon Atom IC3 and AtomOS 10 system to produce increased resolutions and frame rates allowing you to have higher quality footage that can be easily edited without compromising on video quality.
Gain creative flexibility from the higher resolution
The extra resolution gives you creative flexibility. With the ability to extract multiple 4K shots from a single camera angle. By capturing footage in 8K, when cropping during post-production stabilization the image will still have a resolution of at least 4K. This means that the footage can still be placed in an 8K timeline with no visible loss in quality.
Capture stunning 4K slow-motion footage
Capture seamless 4Kp120 in ProRes RAW in order to create stunning high frame rate video without using your cameras internal compressed codecs. Providing you with a full range of creative options during the editing process that might not have been available to you with the colour compression and subsampling caused by your cameras internal compressed codecs.

Playback your high frame rate video at various speeds, letting you preview any adjustments you want to make on your timeline.

The Ninja V + can be a perfect addition to a Canon R5 mirrorless camera system, giving you a compact yet powerful 8K camera set-up. Capable of becoming the basis of a lightweight compact cinema rig.
Access to a number of different codecs
Having ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265 available to you provides you with a number of options when it comes to processing RAW footage.
These different Codecs each give you a slightly different quality. For example, ProRes Raw can support 16bit RAW outputs from a camera via HDMI, while ProRes and Avid DNx are both industry standard edit-ready codecs with scalable levels of compression. The ProRes has been designed by Apple and the Avid DNx has been designed for use with Avid video editor.
The AtomX SDI expansion module when paired with the Ninja V+ allows you to cross convert HDMI and SDI signals, enabling you to have an SDI signal output from the AtomX SDI Expansion module. This allows you to record and view SDI video up to 4Kp60 from a number of video sources.
