Pulsar Merger LRF XL50
The Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 has been designed with a powerful 1024x768,12µm, <40mK thermal sensor and 50mm f1.0 objective lens these thermal imaging binoculars are the first to offer this unique combination of thermal sensor and wide objective lens. This combination allows the Merger LRF XL50 to provide a detection range of up to 2300m. This staggering range and a familiar classic binocular design are ideal for wildlife observation.
Highly Detailed Thermal Imagery
The Merger LRF XL50 has been optimised to retain excellent, high-quality thermal imagery throughout its entire 2.5X - 20x magnification range. The magnification can be increased by 2x steps or continuously up to 20x magnification, for a fully customisable field of view that can be altered to match any situation.
Integrated Laser Ragefinder
The Merger LRF XL50 features a precision laser rangefinder which has been integrated into these thermal binoculars, allowing you to gather information such as the distance between you and the object you are observing. This system offers a measuring distance of up to 1000m ± 1m in a single measurement or set to scanning modes.
Three Sensitivity Amplification Levels
Designed with three sensitivity amplification levels, these levels help to define an animal's anatomical features, making it easier to identify specific animals during observations. This can be extremely useful when you need to document specific numbers of animals, theses binoculars help you achieve clear rendering of objects and the background in the binoculars.
Classic Binocular Design
The Merger LRF XL50 has a classic binocular design, this traditional construction allows for an ergonomic and comfortable positioning over long periods of observation. There are six function buttons along the body of the Meger, each placed in a comfortable and convenient arrangement, the most used function buttons can be activated with a single touch.
Comfortable Viewing Experience
Pulsar has taken into consideration the effect of eyestrain, which might occur when receiving visual information through two separate channels at the same time. The Merger, therefore, has an adjustable interpupillary distance of 62-74mm, enabling better performance in low-contrast scenarios.
8 Colour Palettes
Change your colour palette depending upon the conscious and specific task, 8 colour palettes have been programmed into the Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 including white hot, black hot and red hot for object detection, and rainbow and ultramarine have been designed for object recognition and identification. Colour modes such as red monochrome, sepia and violet are most suitable for long periods of observation in darkness.
Calibration Modes
Featuring three calibration modes including manual, semi-automatic and automatic. Each mode can be used to equalise the microbolometer temperature background and eliminate defects. This can assist in resulting in consistent image quality.
Up To 8 Hours of Battery Life
The Merger LRF XL50 has been designed with a unique dual battery system, featuring two rechargeable batteries which include a built-in 4 Ah battery and a replaceable 3.2Ah battery. This system provides up to 8 hours of power on a single charge. The replaceable battery has an embossed design, allowing you to be able to quickly identify and position the replacement battery with ease even in darkness.
Display Off Mode & instant Start-Up
Conserve energy with the display off mode, which reduces your screen's brightness to an absolute minimum, while the device's systems still remain operational. The device can be restarted quickly with instant-start-up, powering the display back on in only three seconds.

The Merger LRF XL50 system has been curated with a rugged magnesium alloy housing. It is ideal for protecting internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, heat and cold in its solid but lightweight housing.
IPX7 Waterproof
The Merger LRF XL50 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, indicating that this thermal imaging device can withstand being submerged in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. This helps to guarantee that the device can withstand being used in a number of harsh weather conditions.
Built-in Video Recorder
The Merger LRF XL50 has 16GB internal memory, allowing you to record and store those once-in-a-lifetime moments at just the touch of a button. The images and footage can be transferred quickly to a computer with a USB-C connection or via the Steam Vision 2 app.
