About the Tutors

Matt Hart
Matt Hart

Matt is a black and white street and event photographer based in Liverpool.

Annual projects have helped Matt to focus on his personal development within the industry - they constantly challenge his own ideas and concepts, which motivate him to learn new skills.
He is passionate about street photography and has developed the skill to observe while being virtually invisible to his subjects; letting the world carry on around him without affecting the scene.
Matt keeps the system and process as simple as possible so as not to over complicate the task. Hence, why he has chosen the Fuji X system for his professional work, which helps him to achieve his style. He is an official  Fujifilm X Photographer; a Formatt Hitech featured Artist and the founder of The Fujiholics Social Media Group.

Paul Sanders
Paul Sanders

Paul is a passionate landscape photographer. Landscape photography started as a form of therapy for him, as he struggled to cope with the pressure and stress of his previous job as Picture Editor of The Times. Through his photography, he was able to express himself as a result his emotions are plainly visible in every photograph he takes, some are calm, almost meditative and others filled with turmoil.
Paul specialises in long exposure work to allow the light and elements to move during the exposure gives an ethereal quality that has a painterly feel to the images. He doesn’t rely on Photoshop trickery or too much digital editing to create my images; preferring to get it right in camera with only minimal adjustments - colour balance, exposure and contrast.

Paul is based in Kent and supplies his work to corporate and private clients, he is a Light and Land tour leader and writes for several photography magazines.
