Nikon Monarch HG 8x30 binoculars complete the family...

Much like it's bigger brother the Monarch HG 10x42 the HG 8x30 packs superior optical clarity in a small body making it an excllent choice for travel and sporting events. Nikon's Field Flattener Lens System in combination with extra-low dispersion glass (ED) creates a wide field of view and superb optical performance. See immaculate detail rendered by the dielectric multilayer prism coating ensuring exceptional brightness and true to life colour. Experience this in a watersealed, fog-proof magneisum alloy pair of binoculars weighing a mere 450 g.

Is the Monarch HG 8x30 the best compact binocular on the market?

For impeccable optical performance in a sleek compact body look no further than the Monarch HG 8x30. The Field Flattener Lens System compensates for the curvature of the lens giving you a wide field of view with edge to edge clarity. You won't miss details in even your periphary while observing coastline, wildlife or architecture - view it all in high resolution and beautiful colour.

Experience superior colour fidelity with Monarch HG 8x30 binoculars

The world comes to life through the Extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses designed to correct chromatic aberration that would otherwise result in colour fringing. High-quality multiayer coatings are applied to all lenses and prisms in conjunction with an additional high-reflective coating on the roof prism resulting in increased brilliance and colour reproduction.

Rugged weather proof construction makes the Monarch HG 8x30 the ideal multi-purpose set of binoculars

You don't have to sacrifice any optical performance in exchange for the compact magnesium alloy construction of the Monarch HG 8x30. All the premium optics are cased within the robust waterproof and fogproof housing of the binoculars. The body of the binoculars has been filled with nitrogen in order to resist water pressure to a depth of 5 meters for 10 minutes. This also prevents fog from accumulating on the elements in high-altitude, low-pressure evinroments up to 5,000 meters. For additional durability the objective lenses and eye pieces have a scratch-resistant coating.
