Super Integrated Coating on all glass and fluorite coating on exposed glass. Stops down my 80mm to 400mm Nikkor lens to f6.3 - f8 on a D610. On a very bright sunny day the lens @550mm is still sharp but when cloudy it struggles to pull in enough light. This is the fault of the lens not the converter. Best used with the new electromagnetic diaphragm prime lenses.
Very Expensive.

Works well with prime lenses - so well that I'm unable to detect any significant difference in image quality with vs without, which is terrific. Haven't tried it with a zoom yet...
Price is well over the top for what it is!

whats not to like!! use it on both my 70-200 f2.8 and on my 200 - 400 f4...no noticeable drop in quality, even at 100% magnification on a macbook retina screen....far better that the TC II, and well worth the money.
price is ridiculous...not the retailers fault...but it should be cheaper...I am a Full time photographer so can set it off against my expenses....but nevertheless....too much....
