Looking to take macro shots in high resolution with striking contrasts and supreme detail? The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm 1:2.8 Macro lens delivers all of this and more, excelling above all in terms of image quality, versatility and resilience. Being a dedicated macro lens, it lets you take shots at close range in true (1:1) life size, as well as offering you continuous focusing from this distance to infinity. Built with incredible precision, it features an internal focus system with floating lenses that is capable of producing equally high image quality when shooting macro, landscapes, portraits, and more. Create shallow depth of field effects with its open aperture and really show off the contrast between razor-sharp details and circular bokeh that this lens creates. As well as being technologically sophisticated inside, it is also built to last on the outside - with a dust- and splashproof outer body and specialist protective coating for the lens glass itself. You can also enjoy the focus dial to easily change the possible focus range (0.19-0.4m or 0.19m-infinity or 0.4-infinity). On top of this a special display indicates the actual focus distance for more control of your shots. Plus there’s the option of acquiring an automatic lens hood, which can slide up and down to reduce flare and protect your lens.

It is very small, weather sealed, very sharp & choice of focal lengths via a limiter switch.

I have only recently received this lens so am still assessing.
As usual, Olympus does not supply a lens hood with premium lenses and the one for this lens is quite expensive.

I bought the lens for in camera photo stacking with my Olympus EM1 MkII. Its brilliant, so easy to use. Stacking with this lens gives phenomenal depth of field with superb sharpness with great bokeh lifting out the subject from the background. The photos are far better than I dreamed possible.
Nothing.

So small and light, stunningly sharp for macro, but also makes a great lens for portraits. What's not to like about it. It's a cracker and at a very reasonable price when you see the alternatives. Highly recommended!
.....er, nothing!

The OMD E-M1 when used with this lens has built in focus stacking which is very useful.
Compared to the standard 50mm 4/3 macro it is faster focussing and often you can use af when manual focussing would have been needed on the older lens.
It doesn't require an adaptor to fit.
It doesn't require an extension tube for 1:1. It also weighs less.
It is very sharp. The focus limiter is excellent.
The excellent lens hood is an extra.
