Atomos Shogun
Atomos has designed their Atomos Shogun unit with all the features seen on the Ninja, with a bigger 7-inch bright screen. This robust unit has a new AtomOS 11 operating system enabling a faster and cleaner recording experience. Making it an ideal choice for big-budget filmmakers and production teams.

A new AtomOS 11 software has been integrated into the Atomos Shogun enabling a faster and cleaner recording experience as well as more recording features.
Multiple levels of connectivity
The Atomos Shogun has been designed to support multiple avenues of connectivity including a Wi-Fi 6 and GigE connection as well as long-range wireless sync, and third-party sync with Bluetooth AirGlu BT.
The Atomos Shogun features multiple ports including a USB-C port, 2.1mm locking jack DC input and a separate SDI Out, ideal for comprehensive cross-conversion between SDI and HDMI.
Bright Screen
The Shogun unit has been developed with a super-bright, large 7-inch screen, with 2000 nits brightness, the screen is viewable in almost every kind of light and is perfect for checking your HDR footage on set
Packed with on-screen features
The Atomos Shogun can be used to capture RW video from multiple different cameras including DSLR, mirrorless and cinematic camera systems with either SDI or HDMI connection. Featuring tons of on-screen tools to take care of your workflow, control focus, exposure, custom LUTs and metadata
Not Just for recording uncompressed video
The Atmos Shogun has been designed to work with all popular camera manufacturers to support the widest range of cameras. This allows you to work with a wide range of RAW formats and make use of the start/stop trigger recording system.
Choose from a selection of industry-standard recording formats
Pick the best recording format to suit your project, the Shogun includes most of the industry-standard recording formats such as Apple ProRes, 6K ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD and H.265. Pick the best frame size, frame rate and codec to meet your requirements. This also includes HDMI RAW inputs up to 6K at 30fps and simultaneously looping out standard YCC video via HDMI to non-Raw compatible devices.
Constructed from precision materials
Crafted for maximum durability, the Shogun monitor system has been constructed of a solid aluminium frame weighing only 360g. This precision-made system includes anti-rotational 3/8-16 mount points on both the top and bottom. Allowing you to connect the Shogun to your compact camera rig. There is a ¼-20 adaptor shipped with the Shogun monitor for easy mounting capabilities on industry-standard equipment.
Onion Skin & Frame Grab
Create cinematic shots and save time in post-production thanks to the built-in Onion Skin and Frame Grab features. Enables you to simplify stop-motion and jump/match cuts along with capturing frame grabs live on set.
Atomos AirGlu Included
Aomos Shogun features Atomos AirGlu, this system adds wireless timecode, sync and control technology, ideal when working with multiple Atomos devices or compatible cameras. This system syncs up your devices to share the same frame-accurate timecode. The Shogun unit features AIRLGlu BT and AirGlu RF for both up close and long-range sync and control protocol between Atomos connect products.
Bypass internal compression
The Atmos Shogun system is able to bypass internal compression when you are shooting Log footage, allowing you to record footage in the best possible dynamic range, providing more colour information and immediately adding value to your production.
12G-SDI input
The Shogun unit supports a 12G-SDI Input, which can be found as standard on high-end cinema cameras such as the Sony FX series and Camon EOS C series. Making the shogun unit an ideal choice for big-budget filmmakers and production teams.
