Multi-directional Pick-up
Three directional modes allow you to capture a variety of subjects. Effortlessly switch between 90º (stereo) and 120º (stereo) to allow for sound capture in different sized spaces. The directional shotgun mic allows crisp capture of subjects that are directly in front of the camera and effectively eliminates distracting sound around the subject.
No Cables!
The new 21-pin multi-function hot-shoe that features on the Canon EOS R3 camera allows for fast communication and power delivery for compatible Canon accessories. The new Canon Directional Stereo Mic works seamlessly with this new design and takes it’s power directly from the Canon R3. This multi-function hot-shoe design also allows for fast and effective communication, allowing you to amend the mic settings quickly and directly from the R3’s menu system, so no more need for cables!
Realistic and Rich Sound
The range of 100 Hz to 10000 kHz allows the mic to capture high frequencies through to very low frequencies in incredible detail. Sensitivity down to -20 dB (shotgun 120º) allows you to record exceptionally quiet sounds.
Integral Shock Mount
The built-in shock mount allows the mic to keep vibrational noise to a minimum, allowing for the correct sound capture without any disturbing sound or handling noise.
Dust and Weather Resistant Seal
Thanks to a new locking lever design, the mic is dust and weather resistant. Please note that this is via the multi-function hot-shoe mount only.
