Celestron Astromaster Accessory Kit - 1.25”
Become an Astromaster with this accessory kit from Celestron and get more enjoyment out of your telescope. Complete with two eyepieces, a 2x Barlow lens, three filters and a microfiber cleaning cloth, this kit contains everything required to get the most out of the stars.
Eyepieces
The kit includes one 15mm Kneller and one 6mm Plossl eyepiece that can be used with any telescope with a 1.25” focuser. Use the 15mm Kneller lens for a medium magnification and view of the larger night sky. Switch to the 6mm Plossl for a higher magnification, excellent for the Moon and other planets.
2x Barlow Lens
Use the 2x Barlow Lens to double the magnification of both the eyepieces, and double the number of eyepieces that you have in your kit. Transform the 15mm into a 7.5mm eyepiece and the 6mm into a 3mm for extreme magnification. This Barlow lens also has a T-Thread machined in which means that a DSLR camera can be mounted to the telescope with the addition of a T-Ring.
#80A Blue Filter
Enhance the contrast of cloud belts on Jupiter and polar ice caps on Saturn with the #80A Blue. This can also be used to increase the contrast on the Moon however there will be a colour shift.
#25 Red Filter
The deep red #25 is a colour filter that is excellent for defining the polar ice caps on Mars. It reduces glare and will also reduce the brightness of a daytime or light-polluted sky. The red filter can also be used when observing Jupiter’s weather bands or Saturn’s rings.
Moon Filter
The Moon Filter is ideal for viewing our closest planet thanks to it reducing the brightness of the planet’s surface. The filter brings out more detail on the Moon’s surface and improved contrast shows details such as craters, mountain ranges, seas and valleys.
Cleaning Cloth and Case
Keep the entire kit safe and together with the black plastic carry case. The Die-cut foam interior perfectly stores all kit elements and protects them during transit. The micro fiber cleaning cloth removes any residue and keeps the lenses and filters as if brand new. Remember to blow or brush any dust particles off the optics before rubbing them with a cloth.

Why are filters important?
Filters help our eyes to relax when looking at a bright planet through a telescope. Just as we often wear sunglasses on a bright day to help relax our eyes from the glare, filters do the same and make the viewing experience much more comfortable and let you see extra details on the planet surface.
Which telescopes is this kit compatible with?
This kit will work with any 1.25” telescope focusers, for example, the Celestron 114LCM Computerised Telescope or the Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT Computerised Telescope.
Can these filters be stacked?
Absolutely, all the filters included in this kit are double-threaded and can therefore be stacked to create different effects.
