Hoya UX II CIR-PL Circular Polarising Filter
The Hoya UX II CIR-PL Circular Polarising Filter uses a special 10-layer HMC-WR multi-coating incorporating anti-reflection, water-repellent, and polarising qualities as well as fingerprint and smudge resistance, giving better shooting experiences when photographing water, glass or blue skies. Multi-coated
The anti-reflective coatings prevent unwanted reflections and increase light transmittance, while the water-repellant coatings ensure water droplets fall way easily without affecting your shot and make it easier to keep the filter clean.

The UX II CIR-PL filter can be used with both digital and film cameras to combat surfaces that are known for creating glare which can result in a loss of image quality, increasing highlights while reducing colour and detail.
The polarising filters' structure incorporates a polarising film, sandwiched between two pieces of glass. The front part of the filter frame is able to rotate, allowing the polarising film to be positioned at the desired angle, allowing your images’ contrast and colours to really pop.

How to store filters?
While UV filters can often be attached to your lens and simply forgotten about, you may want to swap out your UV filter for an ND filter when out on a shoot. We would suggest keeping your spare filters in a pouch such as the Shimoda filter wrap 100 to make sure they are safe and secure when you want to use them.
