Kondor Blue Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Ultimate Rig (Black)
Kondor Blue has used its expertise to develop the Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Cage, specifically designed to fit around the body of the Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro camera. Constructed of four plates to completely encase your camera body along with the Nato rail top handle. This full cage provides all-around protection and increased mounting points in a stylish black to complement the Blackmagic design camera body.
NATO Rails
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K has been designed to capture the highest quality of video footage in the industry. You need a cage and a rig that will allow you to make full use of the camera's capabilities. The Kondor Blue cage has been designed with two Nato rails. One on the top for standard handheld orientation and one on the side to orientate the camera portrait. You can use these NATO rails to attach a top handle for added manoeuvrability on either the left or right sides of the cage.
Start/Stop Record Button
The Top handle has been designed with an easy-to-access start/stop button for capturing footage and images without interfering with the main camera cage. This can be ideal during handheld operations or run-and-gun style shooting.
Dual Cold Shoe
The top plate has two cold shoe mounting points, ideal for attaching accessories like an external microphone or an external monitor. The dual placement allows you to switch the position of accessories like a monitor to face the front or the back of the camera.
Top handle cold shoe mount
The top handle provides an extra cold shoe mount allowing you to have more flexibility regarding how to place your accessories. The extra cold shoe mount provides you more space to spread your set-up across the top of the cage and stops it from feeling cramped.
Supports 15mm side rod
The Top handle features 15mm side rod support, allowing you the option to mount an EVF or monitor to your rig.
Ergonomic Grip
The top handle itself has been designed for comfort and ergonomics. Making it easier to handle the cage or rig for longer periods of time in a handheld situation. The ergonomic design allows the cage to rest nicely in your hand without placing too much strain on your movements.
Sensor Place Markers
Measure focus accurately by using the provided sensor plane markers on the top plate. While the use of autofocus in most DSLR cameras has eliminated the need to measure the focal distance between the camera sensor and the subject, this technique is still used within the film industry to obtain an accurate focusing distance.
Easy Accessibility
The top plate has been carefully shaped to allow you to have full easy access to all of the Blackmagic 6k pro buttons. This enables you to make full use of the Kondor Blue Blackmagic cage without compromising on the functionality of the Blackmagic Pocket 6K camera.
1/4” 20 and ARRI 3/8” 16 threads
The Pro Cage has been designed with multiple mounting points, with a number of 1/4” 20 thread mounting points throughout the entire Blackmagic cage. This gives you a high level of flexibility in terms of how you choose to build your rig around the Kondor Blue Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Cage. There are also several 3/8” 16 threads on both the top and sides of the cage with ARRI locator pins for anti-twist camera accessories.
Built-in bubble level
The top plate contains a bubble level, letting you check that your rig and camera are completely level while filming and allowing you to get perfectly composed shots.
Comfortable Grip
Kondor Blue develop its cages to fit comfortably in your hands. The Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Cage has also been designed with a comfortable grip, letting you use your Blackmagic camera comfortably in a handheld position.
Built-in HDMI & USB C Cable clamp
A built-in HDMI & USB C Cable clamp can be found on the left side of the cage. This provides an additional level of protection when you have an HDMI or USB C cable attached to your camera. Preventing the cable and your HDMI port from becoming damaged.
Attached magnetic Tools
The bottom plate comes with magnetic tools attached to the bottom of the cage, for easy quick assembly and for making adjustments to your cage or rig when out in the field.
Three main mounting points
There a three main mounting points between the Blackmagic pocket 6K Pro camera body and the cage. One on the top and two on the bottom plate. These multiple mounting points allow the weight of the camera to be spread evenly throughout the cage. The mounting points on the bottom plate have been created with Helicoil steel threads.
LWS ARRI Bridge Plate
The Kondor Blue ultimate Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro rig includes an LWS ARRI 15mm Bridge Plate, Designed with an ARRI-standard dovetail, 15mm LWS rod support and rubber padding to reduce the amount of wear and tear to the components. It is an ideal base to build your large setups, providing a quick-release camera plate system which provides the standard 85mm lens height for the BMPCC 6K Pro.
Rosette Arm Bundle
The ultimate rig has been designed with a number of different handling points. It can easily be used as a handheld rig or as a shoulder rig thanks to included rosette arm bundle.
Handles designed for comfortable positioning
The rosette arm bundle feature textured rubber on the handgrips, this allows for added comfort and grip while handling the rig. Adjustable extension arms allow you to adjust the position and length of the handles to fit your preferred position and length. The hand grips can be quickly adjusted to suit your hand positioning via the easy-to-access trigger system, this lets you make adjustments quickly while holding a shoulder-style rig like the Ultimate Blackmagic 6K Pro rig.
Neat cable management
Kondor Blue has designed the rosette arms for easy and comfortable use, as well as providing a sleek and stylish way to mount and carry your Pocker 6K Pro camera. With the addition of small cable management clips on both of the handles, you can maintain a neat and compact set-up thanks to the cable management system found on the handles.
V-Mount Battery Plate
The Kondor Blue Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Ultimate Rig features a cine v-mount battery plate. The V-mount battery plate features numerous DC outputs, enabling you to power multiple devices. DC outputs include a 15V, 12V, 7.4 to 8.4V and a 5V output. The battery plate also has a D-Tap 14.4V power output. This provides you will multiple different points to connect and power your Camera rig.
Charge your V-mount battery via the V-mount battery plate
The Kondo Blue V-mount battery plat also features a 19V DC jack that can be used as a power input access point. While having your V-mount battery connected to the plate you can use this along with an AC charger cable to charge the mounted battery.
