LEE Filters LEE100 Tandem Adaptor
The LEE100 Tandem Adaptor is the latest release from LEE Filters for the incredibly popular LEE100 Filter System. The adapter allows two LEE100 holders to be joined together and rotated independently from each other. This feature is totally unique to the LEE system.
Using the adaptor couldn't be simpler. Slide the adaptor into the front slot of the first holder, then simply attach the second holder onto the adaptor in the same way it would to a LEE100 adaptor ring. By having two holders together, the photographer is able to rotate each holder independently. Now, you can position two ND grad filters at two different angles giving you even more control over your images.
The LEE100 Tandem Adaptor is ideal for:
- Landscape photographers. Light can be a very difficult thing to control when shooting landscapes, but with the adaptor installed you can position two ND grad filters at different angles. For example, if you had bright sidelight on one side of an image you would need to position one ND grad filter vertically to hold back the brightness. Whilst another ND grad filter would need to be positioned horizontally to hold back the detail in the remainder of the sky.
- Fashion/portrait photographers. For example; By using two ND grad filters positioned either side of a models face you can achieve a darker moody looking image.
Easy to position
The adaptor simply slides into the furthest slot of the first holder. Two small lugs on either side of the adaptor ensure its correct position in the holder.
Independent rotation of two LEE100 filter holders
Holders can be positioned at different angles. Once in position, they can also be locked using the LEE100 locking system.
Easy to configure
With the rear holder set up with two filter slots and the front holder set up with one filter slot, you can independently rotate two ND grad filters.
