Perfect for Black and White photography, with the Leica M Monochrom, they are a range of specially calculated colour filters by Leica.
Available in yellow, orange and green - you will be able to experiment with a broad range of effects in terms of light and contrast in your compositions. This is achieved by modifying colour conversion to greyscale values. Your chosen filter colour in the original scene will become lighter. The complementary colours are then darkened. Why not use this to create a moody landscape or portrait shot?
Leica Colour filters are multicoated to reduce reflection. This also gives high transmission with no vignetting.
