The lens is designed with refractive properties as well as aspherical and floating glass elements to ensure sharp, high-contrast image reproduction. Coatings will also minimise any aberrations. A large f/1.4 aperture works with these features to allow a good amount of light into the lens, even in poor lighting conditions and is able to produce a shallow depth of field for when you want to add dimension to your photos.
Rounded bokeh
