Sony have just released the new CEA-G Series of CFexpress Type A Tough Memory Cards. Available in 320GB and 640GB sizes.

The Sony CEA-G Series CFexpress Type A Tough Memory Cards offers high-performance for professional photographers, videographers and enthusiasts looking to boost workflows with unrivalled speed and exceptional reliability. The cards support write speeds of up to 700MB/s and transfer speeds of up to 800MB/s for a fast and efficient workflow. The cards perform significantly faster than SD cards with up to 2.5x faster* buffer clearance, up to 1.4x faster* burst shooting and up to 2.2x faster* data transfer speeds.

Incredibly tough

The Sony CEA-G Series CFexpress Type A Tough Cards have an IP57 rating for uncompromising rigidity in even the toughest environments. The cards have been tested to 150 newtons* of force as well being capable of withstanding 7.5-metre* drops and can withstand temperatures from -10 to 70 degrees. They are also resistant to X-rays, UV rays, dust and humidity.
