Packed with great features like rapid, silent AF as well as being a light and compact ultra-wide zoom lens; this lens is ideal for a dynamic range of photo and video applications.
Superb focus performance
This lens is ideal for shooting architecture, nightscapes and landscapes. The wide Nikon Z mount and the constant f2.8 aperture means that the lenses performance will rival even fixed focal length lenses; with rapid, smooth and silent autofocus.
The zoom and focus rings have been engineered to give the perfect amount of torque whether you’re shooting videos or stills. The AF has been designed to minimise focus breathing and focus shift while zooming making this a great choice for videographers.
Ideal for filters
The compact design enables the use of 112mm screw-on filters. A specialised lens hood is included to cater for the use of these. A rear filter slot allows you to use colour filters.

The lens is constructed with 16 elements in 11 groups. This includes 4 ED elements, 3 aspherical elements and elements with ARNEO and Nano Crystal coating to give superb light control and clarity to your shot.
It will create a dynamic sense of space for your stills and movies while offering superb sharpness, detail and colour.
Across the entire frame, light sources such as stars and cityscapes are beautifully reproduced and fine detail on surrounding objects is clear due to the superior optical design and performance of the lens.
