Regardless of whether you are shooting sports, events or reportage, this S-Line telephoto zoom lens is a true workhorse that is perfect for still images as well as video. The lens can be used in any event thanks to its fast, smooth, and silent focusing and provides outstanding sharpness throughout the frame, even when shooting at the widest aperture. When shooting video, focus breathing is all but eliminated.
The lens boasts a truly versatile focal length range allowing the user to shoot at 200mm, without having to be tied to a single focal length.
This pro-grade lens uses Nikon’s new SR glass, as well as ED glass to combat chromatic aberration. The result of this is that colour fringing is greatly reduced, and harder-to-control blue light (short wavelength spectrum) is thoroughly compensated for. Images are sharper than ever before and contrast is exceptional.
