Through the power of the Z mount, the NIKKOR Z 800mm f6.3 VR S is remarkably lightweight and balanced. The addition of the Phase Fresnel (PF) lens element further contributes to this lens being comfortable to use handheld.
The lens’ centre of gravity has been brought closer to the camera body to improve fast and precise panning. It measures approximately 2.3kg lighter and 16% shorter than its F-mount counterpart for a vastly improved shooting experience.
