The f1.7 full range high-speed aperture makes the lens perfect for dynamic landscape photography to low lit scenes, making it a diverse and easy lens to get along with.
The lens is compatible with a max. 240fps high speed sensor drive. This gives rapid, precise AF. It is excellent for video production with a silent AF operation from the inner focus drive system. A stepless aperture ring plus a micro step driver system helps your camera to give a smooth adjustment to brightness when zooming and panning.
Exceptional barycentric stability is given by the advanced optical design. This minimises and image shifts while zooming. With a focus clutch mechanism, the lens boasts rapid flicking between AF and MF settings.
