High Image Quality

These include three aspherical elements that reduce distortion and allow the lens to be much more compact, as well as one Ultra-ED and two ED lens elements, which minimise chromatic aberration for sharper images.
Wide f2.8 Aperture
The constant f2.8 aperture is constructed from 9 circular diaphragm blades that produce rounded bokeh with minimal onion-skin effects. This allows for beautiful subject separation as well as great performance in tricky lighting conditions and fast video capabilities.
