Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35
The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 system is a compact thermal imaging drive with a range of up to 1750 meters. Designed with a rugged magnesium alloy housing with an IPX7 rating this thermal imaging device has been created to withstand a number of different and harsh weather conditions. Making it the ideal tool to have with you whenever you are conducting wildlife observations. The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 includes a laser rangefinder with a detection range of 100m ±1m.
Highly Sensitive Thermal Sensor
The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 has an impressive 1750m detection range of a standard 1.8m object in total darkness. This is thanks to the combination of its highly sensitive 640x480, 12 µm, <40mK NETD thermal sensor which has a 50Hz refresh rate and a powerful objective lens.
Fast Aperture 35mm f1.0 Lens
The Axion 2 LRF XG35 boasts consistently clear and well-distinguished image detail. This is due to a fast germanium 35mm f1.0 lens that has been integrated into the Axion 2 XG35, which uses high infrared transmission in the LWIR range.
Variable Magnification
The thermal monocular has an 8x digital zoom, allowing you to increase the magnification from 2.5x to 20x magnification gradually in 2x step increments or continuously. Providing you with an ideal magnification ratio to suit any situation. This ultimate 20x magnification provides you with a considerable distance and can provide a generous 12.5”x9.4” field of view.
AMOLED Display
Enjoy enhanced colour rendering with the Axion 2’s high-contrast VGA- resolution AMOLED display.
Picture in Picture (PiP) Mode
A zeroing frame can be displayed at the top of the display when in PiP (Picture in Picture) mode. This frame can display the observation area at either 2x or 4x magnification, while still retaining visual control over the entire field of view.
Enhanced Image Processing
Capture high-quality rendering of both target objects and backgrounds, thanks to its enhanced image processing algorithms. Make fine adjustments to the brightness and contrast along with three levels of signal amplification, allowing you to enjoy greater opportunities for long-range detection.
Calibration Modes
Multiple calibration modes are available to help eliminate defects and ensure consistency in your image quality, these modes include manual, semi-automatic and automatic.
8 Colour Palettes
Change your colour palette depending upon the conscious and specific task, 8 colour palettes have been programmed into the Pulsar Axion XM including white hot, black hot and red hot for object detection, and rainbow and ultramarine have been designed for object recognition and identification. Colour modes such as red monochrome, sepia and violet are most suitable for long periods of observation in darkness.
Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life
The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 has a quick changer rechargeable battery system, providing you with up to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge. Charge your thermal imaging device by simply connecting a USB-C cable to the device to charge the battery. The intuitive design also allows you to remove and replace your battery in seconds, providing you with an extended number of hours of operating time.
Display Off Mode & Instant Start-Up
Conserve energy with the display off mode, which reduces your screen's brightness to an absolute minimum, while the device's systems still remain operational. The device can be restarted quickly with instant-start up, powering the display back on in only three seconds.
Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
The Axion 2 LRF XG35 system has been curated with a rugged magnesium alloy housing, ideal for protecting internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, heat and cold in its solid but lightweight housing. The magnesium alloy is effective at removing heat from electronics, helping minimise image noise, and is perfect for long-term observation.
IPX7 Waterproof
The Axion 2 LRF XG35 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, indicating that this thermal imaging device can withstand being submerged in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. This helps to guarantee that the device can withstand being used in a number of harsh weather conditions.
Operating Temperatures
The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 has been designed to be used consistently in a number of different weather conditions and temperatures. It can therefore operate without issue in extreme temperatures from -25°C to 50°C.
