Similar to the VideoMic NTG and NTG5, the VideoMic Go II features a revolutionary annular line tube design. Allowing you to capture unmatched transparency and a natural sound.
Supported in a detachable Rycote shock mount
The VideoMic GO II is supported in a detachable Rycote shock mount, for easy attachment and reduced noise caused by movement or vibration. This mounting system provides an extremely convenient cable management system.
Plug-in-powered battery-free operation with additional USB functionality
Offering the same plug-in-powered battery-free operation as the original VideoMic GO, the VideoMic GO II has the additional amazing USB digital functionality with compatibility with PC, MAC, iOS & Android.
On-camera microphone
This incredibly compact and lightweight microphone is super simple to use and requires no batteries to operate (running on plug-in power provided by your camera). Enabling you to make use of this highly versatile shotgun microphone for capturing incredible clear audio with a camera, without any additional weight from battery packs.
USB microphone with built-in DSP
A full range of functionality has been enabled thanks to the versatile connectivity of the VideoMic GO II. As a USB microphone, you can connect and capture audio on your mobile device while using the 3.5mm output connection as a powerful headphone output. The Video Mic GO II is compatible with RØDE Connect software, allowing you to connect up to four microphones into one computer with an optimised DSP compressor like noise gate and the legendary Aural Exciter and Big Bottom. An ideal setup for conducting and recording podcasts.
Compatibility with mobile devices
Connection through the USB-C output is certified for direct use with iOS and Android devices, when connected to RØDE Central & Reporter, you can unlock additional features in the microphone such as a high-pass filter, -20dB pad and a windshield compensation.
Limit wind disturbance
For extra protection when recording in outdoor environments add a Rode WS12 Windshield to your VideoMic GO II for a more clear sound with limited noise disturbance.
