Samyang V-AF 45mm T1.9 Sony FE Lens
The 45mm T1.9 is the latest in Samyang’s V-AF series of cine lenses for Sony full-frame sensors. The lens supports up to 8K resolution and ensures colour, quality and weight continuity across the board.
Unified Form Factor
The Samyang V-AF 45mm T1.9 joins 3 other lenses* in their V-AF lineup, the 24mm, 35mm and 75mm. All of the lenses feature a unified form factor, allowing you to use gimbals or drones with no additional calibration required when swapping out lenses. Each lens will measure just 73 x 70mm and weigh less than 300g.
*Still to be released is the 20mm which should be out before the end of 2023
Tally Lamp
Like all the other V-AF lenses, the 45mm T1.9 features a tally lamp which is located on the front and mount index. This allows the user to check whether video is recording or not while shooting and is particularly helpful when filming in cramped areas.
Capture up to 8K Resolution
The Samyang V-AF 45mm T1.9 can support up to 8K resolution, making it compatible with the best cine cameras. The new V-AF series supports resolutions up to 8K in a small and lightweight form, which is well suited for use with handheld gimbals and drones, as well as for studios and location productions.
Colour Matched
The V-AF series is colour matched to ensure colour continuity when you switch between lenses. This ensures a fast and smooth workflow when working on set. The lenses also feature 9 aperture blades for a natural-looking bokeh effect.
Custom Switch & Button
The lens features a 'Focus save' function, which is usually found on professional cine lenses, along with a custom mode that allows you to add extra functions via firmware updates.

The Samyang V-AF 45mm T1.9 Sony FE Lens is compatible with any camera with a FE Mount. Its 8K resolution compatibility makes it particularly well suited to cameras such as the Sony a1 and the Sony FX3.
