This VDSLR lens gives high-quality video with an ultra wide-angle cine lens and Samyang’s own UMC (Ultra Multi Coating) which prevents aberrations, reflections and ghosting. The low 14mm focal length makes this lens a strong choice for filming both close-ups and wide shots, even in low light. The T3.1 aperture with 9 rounded slats, allows you to produce either a soft bokeh with round light dots in the background or sharp images with an 18-ray starburst highlight effect. Like the rest of the VDSLR MK2 range, the unified focus and aperture gear ring positions enable the easy changing of lenses without the need to adjust follow-focus systems and rigs.
