The Shimoda Urban Explore 20 is designed for the content creator of today. This 20-litre backpack is perfect for photographers who want a comfortable way to carry their compact camera equipment setup, plus fits a laptop or tablet measuring up to 14 inches (35cm).
The Urban Explore series combines functionality, form, and comfort to make the perfect carry bag, excellent for travel and street photography. Its features were created to work with the most popular creator tools available today, such as Capture Clips, the newest cameras, and laptops. A stunning recycled Cordura shell and adaptable design keep you prepared for relaxed urban and travel adventures.
14-inch Laptop Sleeve
The rear pocket fits a laptop up to 14 inches (35cm), such as the Apple MacBook Pro 14.
Adaptable design
The harness has a special Capture Clip Mounting Strip that allows for height-adjustable capture clip mounting. A tripod, gimbal, or water bottle can fit in the pockets on either side of the pack, and the Air Mesh Ventilated Harness feels cosy and cool on your torso by allowing air to flow through the perforated high-density foam.
Carry-On Compatible
This backpack complies with Carry-On requirements and is made to be the ideal travel companion. Additionally, it has routing for a mobile battery charger, a hidden AirTag pocket, base handles for simple two-handed carry, and a luggage handle pass-through. For a clean exterior, it also has retractable side and top handles that can remain flush with the pack.
Multiple Access Points
Rear and side access options are provided by the pack. The anti-theft rear opening gives you wide, unhindered access to the majority of your gear for less time-sensitive shooting situations, and the side opening is perfect for quick, under-the-arm access without completely removing the pack.
Removable Core Unit Camera Insert
The Urban Explore 20 backpack has a camera insert offering shockproof protection for DSLRs, non-grip mirrorless cameras, lenses, and other delicate equipment. This can also be removed to give you more space for general-purpose travel. The skin of the removable, zippered Core Unit serves as an extra packing cell fitting the backpack perfectly and capable of storing travel-related clothing or the like.
Included Rain Cover
A lightweight rain cover provides you with an extra layer of protection against wet weather conditions and can self-stow in its own pouch for easy storage.
Durable and compact
Durable YKK zippers are featured on the backpack. The Anthracite pack includes vegan-friendly Hypalon zipper pulls, while the Boa pack uses full-grain leather zipper pulls. Each pack's exterior is constructed from a strong, water-resistant Cordura ripstop that is made entirely of post-consumer waste. Custom-made, CNC-machined aluminium sliders are included as well as an internal aluminium frame that supports structure and load balancing. Plus, a magnetic sternum strap that enables quick, one-handed operation.
