Sionyx Aurora Black

The Sionyx Aurora Black monocular can fully transform your night-time birding and nature observation experiences. Capable of full-colour digital night vision viewing and recording in colour or monochrome in daylight, low light, or night-time, the camera’s Ultra Low-Light Sensor is great for birding and wildlife spotting in dimly lit environments or at night.

Ultra Low-Light Sensor

The Aurora is a night vision monocular designed for a range of poorly lit or night-time situations. This light sensor technology is capable of detecting light in even the darkest of conditions.

Intuitive switch and dial setup

The Aurora has a simple switch and dial setup that allows for quick setting changes. The scene ring and the setting dial make quick changes to the operating mode, both of which allow for a customised viewing experience for various daytime hours. Users can also change the diopter and lens focus settings.

Flexible recording

Even though the Aurora Black is limited to 30-minute clips, it can produce of up to 60 frames per second of HD video and still photos with shutter speeds up to 1/8000th of a second. Additionally, the Aurora has Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), which reduces camera shake and minimises blur. The camera has a variety of recording options, including slo-mo (shutter control), HDR (High Dynamic Range), time-lapse, panorama view, self-timer, loop mode, and burst mode.

Stay Connected

The Aurora can be remotely controlled, live-viewed, and shared with the SiOnyx App via smartphone or tablet thanks to its onboard WiFi.

Built for adventure

An inbuilt electronic compass and GPS allow you to maintain your orientation and automatically add location data to pictures and videos for later use. The Aurora's small size, weighing under 227g, makes it highly portable while its sturdy shell makes it the ideal tool for outdoor activities. Ideal for adventure, it features a built-in lens guard, 6000j shock-resistance, and an IP67 rating for dust-resistance, splash-proof and water-resistance of up to 3 feet for 30 minutes.
