Sony ECM-CG60 Shotgun Microphone

A high-performance, monaural microphone with supercardioid directivity which improves the targeting of sound. Directional mono microphones, often called shotguns, have a single microphone element which results in a higher sensitivity to sound coming from the direction it is pointed whilst being less sensitive to sounds from the sides and rear.
