What is SmartPhoto mode?
SmartPhoto is a feature on the Mavic Air 2 which allows you to almost effortlessly capture beautiful images. Think of it as essentially scene recognition combined with HyperLight and HDR modes all in one.
The scene recognition mode will optimise the camera’s various parameters to pick up on what is happening in the frame. These modes range from sunsets to blue skies and grass/snow. It can also be set for challenging lighting conditions to support you in any setting.
The HyperLight mode is initiated when you need support in low lighting. It has noise reduction and gives much better clarity to your shot. HDR is used in this setting to improve the dynamic range. It adjusts exposure and layering to give you the optimal settings for vibrancy and detail.
