Vanguard VEO 2S CM-264TBP120T Carbon Fibre Monopod

VEO 2S CM-264TBP120T Monopod
The monopod has been constructed from carbon fibre, is compact and lightweight weighing in at only 1.3kg (including ball-head) and comes with foldable tri-feet for extra stability. This kit comes with the VEO 2 BP-120T ball head which can easily convert to a pan-head in seconds, as well as including the Arca compatible QS-72T quick release plate that is capable of holding a smartphone as well as other accessories.
The 2S AM-234TBP50T is perfect for shooting both photo and/or video in locations where it would be impossible to use a regular tripod. Not only is it more flexible and easier to transport than a regular tripod but boasts extra stability thanks to its added tri-feet.
The maximum load capacity for the monopod is 12kg, which is more than enough for almost any style of DSLR or mirrorless camera as well as smaller spotting scopes and binoculars. It has a maximum extension of 172.5cm and can be folded down to just 62cm which can be achieved in seconds thanks to the ½” turn lock/unlock twist leg locks.
Though the tri-feet are permanently attached they flip up to make transporting the monopod as easy as possible. There is a ball joint at the base which can be tightened for maximum stability, as well as loosened for more dynamic movement like tracking a moving subject.
Other extras include a carabiner, for attaching the monopod to your bag as well as a rubber foot and wrist strap so that it can be doubled up as a walking support.

VEO BP-120T Head
Included with the monopod is the VEO BP-120T. This ball-head is capable of a maximum load of 12kg and includes two ergonomic locking knobs for ease of use, even in harsh weather conditions. One is used for locking the ball joint while the other is to lock/release the panning motion. There is a telescopic pan-handle provided that can be simply screwed in to allow you to follow moving subjects with ease.
Also included is the QS-72T Arca compatible quick release plate that incorporates a smartphone clamp so that you can mount your smartphone (up to 9cm wide). There is a cold shoe mount to allow you to mount a light or microphone, as well as a 1/4" thread on the side so that you can attach a support arm for even more versatility.
A Bluetooth remote control for IOS or Android phones is included so that you can trigger the camera/video function remotely.
