The Vaonis CLS Filter is a light pollution filter for the Vespera Observation Station.* Also known as a City Light Suppression filter, it can significantly improve the quality of the image when using it in the city or suburbs.

No More Pollution
The Vaonis CLS Filter increases the contrast between a stellar object and the sky, allowing you to obtain a higher-quality, sharper image. It does this by blocking Na (sodium) and Hg (mercury) wavelengths which are mainly emitted by urban night lighting or undesirable natural light. The filter allows the main wavelengths from celestial objects to create a sharper, clearer image.
Perfectly Formed
The Vaonis CLS Filter has been designed specifically for the Vespera lens and fits easily and discreetly into the optical arm. The lens ring on the Ventura features an electronic card that can detect its presence. It is also compatible with other Vaonis filters.
