Why buy the Leica SF C1 Remote Control Unit?
The SF C1 remote controller from Leica opens up a world of creative opportunities. With a hot shoe mount, the unit will give wireless control to Leica's SF 60 flash via a 2.4GHz frequency. It allows up to 7 channels with 3 groups of flash units to be controlled individually or together with a variety of settings.
What are the key features of the SF C1?
- 2.4 GHz Radio TTL System
- Compatibility with the Leica SF 60 Flash
- Max Flash Sync Speed 1/8000 Second
- 8 Channels and 4 Groups (A, B, C, D)
- Trigger Range: 328'
- Manual Zoom Adjustment from 24-200mm

The SF C1 allows users to utilise all of the functions of each connected flash unit giving as much capability as if they were directly connected to the camera. This allows you to build up and customise your lighting setup to your heart's content. When using the Leica SF 60 flash, all of the settings can be read off and simply adjusted using the controls and colour LCD panel on this control unit.
Long life & futureproof design
Two AAA batteries give this unit the life of around a very sufficient 3000 exposures. A microSD slot allows easy downloading and updating of the firmware of this unit - giving it future compatibility plus easy updates and improvements.
What cameras is the SFC1 remote unit compatible with?
The Leica SF C1 can be used with a range of Leica cameras; Leica SL, M10, S (007), Q, CL, M (Typ 240), M9, M8 and S (006) (providing the controller and camera have the latest firmware updates).
What flash units can be used with the SF C1?
The SF C1 must be used with Leica SF 60 flash units. Multiple SF 60 flashes can be connected to each other - enabling wireless triggering. The SF 60 flashes can then be daisy-chained to fire other Leica flashes (SF 40, SF 64, SF 58) using an optically triggered slave function.
