Atomos Connect
The Atomos Connect is a fully integrated module that has been designed to be added to the back of Atomos Ninja monitors including the Atomos Ninja, Atomos Ninja V, Atomos Ninja V+ and the Atomos Ninja Ultra. Providing full connectivity between devices, thanks to a number of flexible connection options, such as WI-FI 6, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth LE. This new level of connectivity allows you to make use of advanced cloud-based workflows.
Atomos AirGlu
The Atomos Connect features a 12G SDI input Atomos AirGlu wireless sync timecode technology. This allows for direct, long-range communication between devices. Pairing this feature with multiple power options enables your Ninja V or V+ to accommodate a variety of on-set scenarios while still communicating successfully with the cloud-based system.
Stream From Anywhere
Connecting the Atomos Connect to your Ninja V device allows you to live-stream to a number of online services, such as Twitch, YouTube and Facebook Live. All thanks to the built-in WI-FI 6, Gigabit Ethernet and the added feature of being able to join cellular hotspots. This lets video content producers reach their audience from anywhere.
Advanced online workflow
As a fully integrated Fram.io camera to Cloud (C2C) device, Atomos Connect offers advanced online workflows via the support of HDMI and SDI equipped cameras. The advanced connection between your device and the cloud allows for remote collaboration. This brings filmmakers and content creators closer together, as it allows them to seamlessly work together on larger widescale or worldwide projects.
Frame.io for Adobe Creative Cloud
The Frame.io for Adobe Creative Cloud is now part of the Creative Cloud subscription, making it easier than ever for more and more filmmakers to access cloud-based workflows.
Dual Record
Create “hero” Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHR/HD and “proxy” HEVC (H.265) files with matching timecode and metadata with the Atomos Connect. This allows you to simultaneously create a “hero” and “proxy” file at the same time. Providing you with a collaborative file system, while still having access to a high-quality Apple ProRes file.
Upload Proxy files to the Cloud
The proxy files that are created can be uploaded to the cloud while still being captured, this is accomplished using Atomos progressive transfer technology. Allowing you to have immediate access to the available proxy clip in the cloud as soon as the recording stops.
Built-In SDI and HDMI Interface
The Atomos Connect has a built-in SDI and HDMI interface, allowing the Atomos Connect to support a large range of professional cinema, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The additional feature of Atomos AirGlu wireless sync technology allows for direct, long-range communication between devices and produces a robust timecode lock.
