Atomos Ninja Ultra
The Atomos Ninja Ultra features a 5-inch HDR screen, a suite of monitoring tools with one-touch operation, and the New AtomOS 11 operating system specially designed for use with mirrorless and cinematic cameras. Capture in ProRes RAW up to 8K 30P, 6K 60P & 4K 120P with this lightweight, tough, and reliable monitor recorder. The Ninja Ultra assists advanced recording and playback with monitoring tools like RecordAssist and PlayBackAssist, and when used with the Atomos Connect is even capable of Dual RAW recording for Camera to Cloud workflows.

AtomOS 11
The AtomOS 11 operating system is cleaner, fresher and faster, thanks to hardware performance optimized for AtomOS 11, it improves memory management, boosts responsiveness, and delivers a host of new features too, including EL Zone exposure referenced colourised image, ARRI False Color, and new scheduled playback & recording tools. Other AtomOS Monitor Assist features available include Focus Peaking, Zoom, Vectorscopes, and more, to truly enhance your workflow.
Built for cinematic workflows
The Ninja Ultra supports automatic matching of filenames, timecodes, and record triggers for numerous ARRI, Canon, Sony, and RED camera models. Enjoy parallel recording as the capability to record full-quality ProRes RAW up to 4K 60p and HD 60p to H. 265 simultaneously further lends itself to use in cinematic work.
High-quality design
The aluminium body is thin and strong, weighing only 360g and having a depth of only 25mm, making it simple to mount on any rig. Meanwhile, the state-of-the-art screen on the Ninja Ultra consists of a 10-bit HDR monitor with a resolution of 1000 nits. This displays bright, clear images for on-set or off-location monitoring while maintaining clarity and colour even in the brightest environments.
4K camera to cloud mode
Higher quality bitrate H. 265 video with higher framerates is available in the 4K camera to cloud mode. This is a small enough file size to record and upload in for any camera-to-cloud workflows while maintaining enough quality for instant use in social media, sports reporting, or news-gathering pursuits.
Single codec record – 8K RAW 30p Support
Record in incredibly high detail capturing up to 8K RAW footage at 30P. Observe every detail when creating large-scale displays or cutting-edge stock footage where high resolution is necessary.
New Time-lapse
Control a time-lapse recording entirely independent of your camera’s controls, using your Ninja Ultra to make any changes and obtain beautiful time-lapses remotely.
RecordAssist
Simply set a time for your recording to start and continue your shoot with peace of mind. Ideal for covering pre-arranged events when you need to be somewhere else or recording at multiple angles and locations simultaneously.
PlaybackAssist
Set a time for your Ninja to play out files and even sequences with ease.
EL Zone support
An innovative method for showing exposure values using stops is the EL Zone exposure system. Designed for cinematography, EL Zone allows for greater precision, consistency, and intuitive on-set communication.
ARRI False Colour
The ARRI colourised exposure display is selectable as an alternative to Atomos false colour.
Combine with Atomos Connect
When the Atomos Ninja Ultra is used together with an Atomos Connect module* it provides lower latency, higher throughput and a more stable connection with Wi-Fi 6E, allowing you to maximise its potential for studios and broadcast facilities. The addition of an Atomos Connect module also enables Atomos RemoteView letting you monitor and shoot wirelessly as you share live views from your Atomos screen to other Atomos monitors, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs.

The Ninja Ultra is backwards-compatible with both the Ninja V and Ninja V+, allowing you to use all Atomos and third-party accessories seamlessly with the new model.
