99% Adobe RGB

Produced to have a 99% Adobe RGB colour space, providing you with a greater range of colour than would traditionally be seen in sRGB monitors. This results in producing more realistic and accurate colours.

Brings out all the colour and details

The higher range in colour is ideal for nature photography. Being able to reproduce colours precise to the original image, enables you to convey the subject as true to life as possible.

10-bit Colour Depth

The SW240 Pro 24 inch monitor has a 10-bit colour depth allowing you to enjoy smoother colour gradations than seen on other monitors. This increased bit display enables it to show more than one billion colours.

14-Bit 3D LUT

For accurate colour blending capabilities, the 14-bit 3D Lookup Table (LUT) provides improved RGB colour blending accuracy. Coupled with Delta E ≤ 2 in both Adobe RGB and sRGB colour space, allowing you the truest most representative view of the original image.

Hardware Calibration

This monitor allows for an increased level of image consistency, thanks to its hardware calibration. Enabling you to make adjustments to the image processing chip in the monitor without changing the graphics card output data.

Palette Master Element Calibration Software

Palette Master element calibration software lets you tune and maintain the colour performance of the SW240 monitor. This means the colour accuracy of your monitor will always be incredibly high, as the colour performance of the monitor is maintained at its most optimal state.

Professionally Factory-Calibrated for Supreme Colour Accuracy

BenQ prides itself on delivering the best professional-grade quality monitors. Therefore each BenQ designer monitor is individually factory-calibrated upon production. Assuring precise Delta-E and Gamma performance.

Perfect for professional photographers

The increased 24.1” screen with a 16:10 ratio allows you space to open up two full A4 sized documents side by side.  This is ideal for photographers looking to compare content at a glance.

Colour Mode HotKey

An inbuilt colour mode hotkey lets you switch between 3 preset colour modes. Black-and-White mode, sRGB mode and Adobe RGB mode. There is also an available option to customise your preferred preset mode. Simply press the HotKey for 5 seconds to make adjustments based on your own personal display needs.

Advanced Black & White mode

The BenQ SW240 has an advanced black & white mode available to you. You can choose from three black & white presets, such as a black & white film effect. This allows you to preview your photos before you perform significant adjustments to your images.

Shading Hood

Ambient lighting can often cause glare to appear on your monitor, use the detachable shading hood to effectively reduce screen glare. This reduction of glare ensures superb colour accuracy, an ideal feature for any professional photographer or editor. The shading hood can be altered to fit both a landscape or portrait orientation.

FAQ

What are the colour modes used for?

This monitor is built precalibrated to come with a number of different colour modes that can be accessed via the inbuilt hotkey. These modes allow you to preview your image in a higher quality colour range, as seen in the Adobe RGB mode. Colour modes like the Advanced Black and White mode act as a guide as to what your image might look like with the appropriate saturation adjustments.
