Triple Resolution Sensor
Using the same triple-resolution technology as the original M11, the Monochrom offers three resolution choices to best suit your shooting style. Photograph in 60MP 14bit DNG for maximum detail. Alternatively, lower the resolution via pixel binning to 36MP for the best overall performance, or again to 18MP for maximum noise reduction in low-light environments.
True Monochrome
The Leica M11 Monochrom Camera uses a completely redesigned BSI CMOS sensor from its colour original. By doing so this camera creates a truly spectacular true monochrome image that cannot be reproduced in post-production.
Impressive Low Light Photography
By removing colour filters from the sensor, the M11 Monochrom is able to perform better in many lower-light scenarios. Its ISO ranges from 125-200,000 and the camera boasts up to 15-stops of Dynamic Range to ensure that high and low-light details are recoverable with minimal disturbance.
256GB Internal Memory
An upgraded internal memory of 256GB ensures that high-resolution images can be recorded without wanting for more space. This improves upon the 64GB memory storage of the Leica M11 camera.
A Black and White Design
Using the now iconic no-logo design and dark chrome OVF coating, this body is unobtrusive in all locations. It features a high-quality aluminium top cover, scratch-resistant blank paint finish and sapphire monitor cover glass for ultimate durability.
