Bright and sharp images
This scope combines all the greatest features of the popular 50mm and 60mm travel scopes in the range and delivers smaller, lighter, brighter, sharper viewing to a new market. The scope is targeted at users seeking the maximum brightness and magnification available for viewing and recording wildlife in a fixed position.
The MM44 scopes are built and designed by Opticron in Japan. A 77mm HDF ED optical system has set a benchmark in superb resolution, plus colour contrast. It seriously outperforms many of the older versions of the Opticron 80mm models.
Light Weight & Compact build
The MM4 77 GA ED Straight Body Scope is just 315mm/(12.4”) long and weighs 1250g/(44oz) fully armoured. These figures read like a 65mm which cannot deliver the light transmission and apparent resolution of this 80mm class model.
Opticron SDL v3 Eyepiece
The SDL v3 Eyepiece takes over from the v2 and is the perfect choice for the latest MM4 spotting scopes. The SDL v3 will a deliver magnification of 18-54x on the 77mm.
The eyepiece has been 100% designed and made in Japan. It comes in smaller and lighter than the v2 but delivers a brighter, sharper picture with a wider FOV at all magnifications. Compact, waterproof, and offers superior optical quality; this eyepiece is an ideal addition to your birding kit.
Opticron MM4 77 Stay On Case Straight - Black
Designed and manufactured in Japan, the Opticron MM4 77 Stay On Cases are multi-layered padded cases designed specifically to fit the Opticron MM4 77 GA ED Fieldscope. The case will protect the instrument in storage, whilst in transport and when in use and fitted to the tripod.
