The long side produces soft light with long shadow edges while the shorter side produces short shadow edges, making it ideal for edge or rim lighting.

The Profoto Softbox 1x4-Feet Silver has been constructed from heat-resistant materials allowing it to be used with flashes using halogen* continuous light.

The Profoto Softbox 1x4-Feet Silver is compatible with all 100mm light heads. You can even use it with Profoto A-series flashes though this requires an OCF Adapter which can be purchased separately.
